Roofing in Dallas–Fort Worth, TX
Hail alley. Spring cells from March to June, roofs that age fast under North Texas sun, and HOA review in most of the suburbs. We bring the same inspection, the same written scope, and the same crew standard north from Houston.
What the weather does here
Dallas–Fort Worth sits in the most active hail corridor in the country. Most springs bring at least one storm with hail large enough to bruise shingles, strip granules, and dent soft metals, and the damage is often invisible from the street. Summer heat does the slower work: a south-facing slope in Frisco or Mansfield cooks under triple-digit afternoons for months, and builder-grade three-tab shingles rarely reach the age printed on the wrapper.
Wind matters too. North Texas does not sit inside the coastal windstorm program, so there is no WPI-8 certificate to chase, but straight-line winds from spring fronts lift tabs that were nailed high or short. We install to the manufacturer's high-wind pattern here as a matter of course.
HOA review in the suburbs
Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Southlake, Prosper, and most of the master-planned communities in Tarrant and Collin counties require architectural approval for a replacement, and some restrict colour and profile. We prepare the application packet with the manufacturer's colour sheet and specifications so the approval is not on your plate. A like-for-like repair rarely needs it; a colour change or a switch to metal usually does.
Insurance claims after hail
After a hail event, out-of-town crews work the subdivisions door to door. Get your roof documented before you call your carrier, so you know whether a claim is worth filing or whether a repair below your deductible makes more sense. Where there is real damage, our photos and measurements go to your adjuster and we meet them on the roof if you want us there. We document and do the work the policy pays for; the claim itself stays between you and your insurer. Our guide to Texas deductible law explains what a contractor may and may not offer.
Services that matter most in Dallas–Fort Worth
- Storm damage. Hail documentation, tarping, a construction estimate, and an on-site conversation with your adjuster about what we observed.
- Roof replacement. Class 4 impact-resistant architectural shingle in an HOA-approved colour, six-nail high-wind pattern, and the certification paperwork for your insurance discount.
- Roof repair. Lifted tabs after a wind front, cracked pipe boots, and the small hail repairs that keep a sound roof off the replacement list.
- Metal roofing. Standing seam for the homeowners who are done replacing shingles every hail cycle, where the HOA allows it.
- Commercial & multifamily. Low-slope and multi-building re-roofs for property managers, with phasing that keeps tenants dry.
Dispatch and drive time
Our office is in Houston, so Dallas–Fort Worth work is scheduled by the day: inspections are grouped so a crew covers several North Texas appointments on one trip, and installs are booked with materials delivered to the site ahead of the crew. When you call, ask for the next North Texas date and we will give you a real one rather than a vague promise. After a major hail event we add days.
Towns we cover: Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Prosper, Southlake, Keller, Grapevine, Mansfield, Denton, and the communities between them. If you are outside that list, ask; the answer is usually yes.
